Yorkshire Wrap at the Norsk Cafe Bar & Terrace

Classic Food Caterers, a leading catering company in Wales, has joined forces with the iconic Norwegian Church Arts Centre, to deliver a new in-house street-food inspired menu for the Norsk Cafe Bar and Terrace, as well as delivering the venue’s event catering.
The partnership will see Classic Food Caterers {who will trade under the name – Yorkshire Wrap} based at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre. Working together we’ve developed a menu brimming with tempting and tasty street-food meals. The location will also become a base for Yorkshire Wrap’s extensive delivery and collection service.
The new menu will feature food with a funky twist, using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable packaging {as well as embracing a bit of Nordic cuisine}.
The Norsk Café also has an attractive selection of delicious pastries, cakes and savouries, as well as a range of teas, coffees, soft drinks {or something a little stronger} that definitely won’t disappoint. The Norwegian Church Arts Centre is fully licenced and the Norsk Café boasts a spacious, newly refurbished outdoor terrace with spectacular and unrivalled views of Cardiff Bay. It’s the ideal setting to enjoy a cold beer or perhaps a glass of wine or chilled prosecco, taking in the warmth of the afternoon and evening sun. In any café, the coffee is important. Fortuitously, we partnered with Cardiff Bay based Quantum Coffee Roasters, who have developed a bespoke and unique coffee blend, lovingly and specifically created for the Norwegian Church Arts Centre… and it’s good. Really good. Why not pop in, and give it a try yourselves. We’re particularly proud to be partnering and promoting local and Wales based producers and suppliers to offer a range of tempting and truly delicious products, from FABULOUS Welsh Cakes (trust us, they really are fabulous), seductive chocolate from Little Croft Chocolate, premium and award-winning tipples from Barry Island Spirits and indulgent Norwegian food and drink favourites from the brilliant Scandi Kitchen. The venue’s link to Norway remains strong to this day, and what better way to experience and celebrate this, other than visit the Norsk Café with many of our menu items inspired by Norwegian cuisine – we also have  Norwegian foodie favourites to purchase. See our Partners page for more information.
